Dr Sudath Rohan De Silva – Hanshi was born on 27 September 1982 in Sri Lanka. Coming to karate at the age of nine, he is an extremely talented teacher with international experience in karate until now. In 2007, under the patronage of Soshu Shigeru Oyama, the chief instructor and founder of the World Oyama Karate Organization in the United States of America, and his brother Saiko Shihan Yasuhiko Oyama, with the help of the American teacher Shihan Tom DiGiacomo, he brought Oyama Karate to South Asia for the first time. Introduced by Dr Sudath Rohan de Silva Hanshi in 2013, an expert karate teacher from Japan and 1984, 1985, 1986, continuous Seidokaikan “All Japan Full Contact Karate Champion” Doshu Masaki Kawachi completed residential UCHIDESHI training in Osaka, Japan, Sri Lanka A karate fighter Dr Sudath Rohan de Silva Hanshi is the fourth fighter to complete UCHIDESHI training in Japan. In 2019, Dr Sudath Rohan de Silva Hanshi was lucky enough to be the Sri Lankan representative of Japan’s IKO Kyokushinkaikan Sonoda Group. Japan’s veteran karate teachers were declared as one of the most respected teachers in South Asia.Dr. Sudath Rohanda Silva Hanshi has also served as the first Sri Lankan representative of the Oyama IKF in Poland, the Sri Lankan representative and chief advisor of the Honkyokushin International Karate Organization, and the South Asian representative of the International Friendship Karate Organization Toshinkaikan under the leadership of Master Yuji Shimizu of Japan, a senior student of Master Sosai Masutatsu Oyama. In 2001, he was the self-defense combat instructor of the Commando Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army and then the first official karate trainer of the Light Infantry Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army and the self-defense combat of the peacekeeping team of the Sri Lanka Army.Dr Sudath Rohan de Silva Hanshi is a respected karate teacher who has devoted most of his life to developing the martial art of karate in Sri Lanka. In the year 2024, he had the proud honor of creating an international karate organization called the International Full Contact Friendship Karate Federation kyokushinkai -IFFKF kyokushinkai
